The First Of Several

Dear Mum,
I’m still not quite used to this five days a week lark. I feel like I’ve been awake since Monday. On the bright side, it’s the weekend!
We don’t have a great deal planned, although it is my work Xmas party tomorrow night. Joshua is rather excited, and he doesn’t even know about the new part of the park, as per the first picture below.
In other exciting news Julie and Rick recently spent some time tidying up the fern bed in their back yard and, as you can see, the baby brachiosaurus finally turned up amongst the leaf litter.

Hi Dan I didn’t realise that the baby brachiosaurus was missing – at least he was at home within prehistoric fernery!! I get tired and I don’t even work!! However this morning I gave another of my stunning lectures – Pompeii this time. This afternoon friends Len and Pam came over to deliver some artwork. So no ‘real work’ done today and I am now on overtime to get the carbon 14 grant application referee letter out to the specialists. Its now nearly 7pm and I am determined to finish by 8 so I can watch Mastermind followed by a Brisbane Zoo programme. We are off to Dorchester (early) tomorrow so I can complete my Xmas shopping lots of love, mum xxxxx
